Alyssa Milano, born December 19, 1972, is an American actress, producer, activist, and former singer. She hails from an Italian-American family, with her mother, Lin Milano, being a fashion designer, and her father, Thomas Milano, being a film music editor.
Milano's acting career began at a young age. She rose to fame through her role as Samantha Micelli in the sitcom Who's the Boss? (1984-1992). Following this success, she co-starred in the series Charmed (1998-2006), playing Phoebe Halliwell, a powerful witch.
