Tutayev, Russia - A Historic City
Tutayev is a city in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia. It is located on the Volga River, about 200 kilometers northeast of Moscow. The city has a population of about 40,000 people.
Tutayev was founded in the 13th century as two separate towns, Romanov-Borisoglebsk and Rostov-Veliky. The two towns were merged in 1922 to form the city of Tutayev.
