Tsukigawa to Join White Ferns Selection Panel
Former White Fern to Bring Experience and Expertise to Role
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has appointed former White Fern Sarah Tsukigawa as a new women's selector. Tsukigawa, who played 11 Tests and 56 One Day Internationals for New Zealand, will join the selection panel alongside convenor Kirsten Flavell and fellow selector Catherine Campbell.
Tsukigawa brings a wealth of experience to the role, having played at the highest level and also coached in the domestic system. She was part of the White Ferns team that won the 2000 World Cup and has since worked as an assistant coach with the Auckland Hearts.

NZC's head of cricket operations, Lindsay Crocker, said Tsukigawa's appointment was a significant step for women's cricket in New Zealand.
"Sarah is a highly respected figure in the game and her experience will be invaluable to the selection panel," Crocker said. "She has a deep understanding of the women's game and is passionate about developing the next generation of White Ferns."
Tsukigawa said she was honored to be appointed to the role and is looking forward to contributing to the success of the White Ferns.
"It's a privilege to be involved in the selection of the White Ferns and I'm excited about the opportunity to help shape the future of women's cricket in New Zealand," Tsukigawa said.
Tsukigawa's appointment is effective immediately and she will join the selection panel for the upcoming White Ferns tour of England.
